Fremont Soccer Field

Fremont City Schools; Fremont, Ohio had a challenge. They wanted to install a permanent public address system for their growing soccer program; but with no enclosed building to house the equipment and no accessible place to install a loudspeaker, they were looking for an answer.

Sound Solutions of Ohio, LLC of Tiffin, Ohio was chosen to find a way.

The sound engineers of Sound Solutions of Ohio, came up with an innovative design. At first glance, the existing scoreboard appeared to be inappropriate to place a large loudspeaker; the weight and size of the speaker needed would be difficult to support on the narrow scoreboard structure. Contracting with a skilled welder from Tiffin Loader Crane Company; who designed and built a special mounting bracket which could support the large loudspeaker; Sound Solutions of Ohio installers mounted the speaker. The amplifier and other sound components were rack mounted and housed in a special outdoor weather proof cabinet which allows the school to operate the system rain or shine. In addition, the cabinet was designed for portability as well. When the soccer season ends, the components can be easily removed from the cabinet and stored away for the following season and then re-installed as needed.
