New Firing Range at Camp Perry

Expert marksmen have their eyes on a new outdoor practice range at Camp Perry, Ohio. Designed to handle small arms firing testing for lawRodriguez Range enforcement officers, competitive shooters, and weapons testing, the new Rodriguez Range required a new re-enforced sound system which could overcome the high ambient noise level so spotters and target raisers could safely perform their jobs.

Sound Solutions of Ohio, LLC was chosen to design and engineer the project. A new power amplifier, mixer, and wireless microphones were installed in a weather proof locking cabinet; and new weatherproof horn loudspeakers were strategically placed along the 700′ foot wall as the solution to the problem. In addition, speaker cable in buried conduit was trenched underground to make for a visually clean installation. Upon testing of the finished project, the new system was met with rave reviews.
